Episode 3 of my series "College Days" is here. Max was quite a sport that morning that we taped. He didn't realize what he was signing up for when he agreed to do it. It happened to be a entire morning with your mother. For a 20 year old hanging out with your mom all morning in the kitchen is not exactly called fun. All that being said.....he did learn a few things.
Spaghetti Cabanara is an easy dish. Not a lot of measuring necessary. And you can add a lot of variation. Here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing.
1) Add some raw greens to it after the noodles have cooked the egg. They will wilt from the warm noodles
2) Add cream instead of olive oil to create a creamy goodness
3) Diced raw tomatoes or canned will add some color as well as nutrition
4) Put frozen veggies into the boiling water when the noodles have a couple
minutes left. Drain with colander and add to egg mixture. (peas are
especially nice.
5) Change your type of cooked meat. Bacon is traditional but put in any
leftovers that you have.
The college series is over and now on to my last 25 videos.
