Week 35 - Healthy No Bake Protein Bars (aka T Bars)

Years ago before pinterest and smart phones I wanted to make a healthy no bake protein bar for my then small children. Protein bars can be quite expensive so this healthy recipe was born 12 years ago. My sister asked me to tape it so that she can make them. The ingredients are simple and most people have them all in their cupboards. When the recipe was developed chocolate whey protein was used. Now I use a vegan version with pea protein, brown rice protein, greens, and probiotics.





Healthy No Bake Protein Bars


1 cup FROZEN mashed bananas

4 scoops chocolate protein powder

1/4 cup + 2 T cocoa powder

1/2 cup peanut butter

2 cups oatmeal



Blend first 4 ingredients together. Watch video, consistency should be like those in video. Similar to brownie batter. You can always add more banana or a little milk.


Stir in oats. Scoop 1/2 cup servings into snack bags. Shape into "turds" and freeze.
