This weeks episode stars my son Max. (he does not disappoint) We made Simple Sausage and Peppers over pasta, a healthy dish that he can easily make with fresh or frozen ingredients. It is a great meal I make on occasion when I don't feel like cooking much. If you chose fresh ingredients you will be chopping onions and peppers for a couple minutes or you can buy them frozen. (Remember, frozen vegetables will have a different texture than fresh)
Did you know that most young adults when leaving the nest have no idea how to cook? Yes, including my sons! Here I profess to be this awesome self - taught cook and I have not taught my kids much if anything about cooking. They have benefited greatly from the wide range of fruits and vegetables that are always available in our home. As well as the many home cooked meals they have experienced. Now leaving the nest, will they eat the same? What they don't know is why I serve them such a wide variety of foods. They don't know how to properly cut an onion. They don't know why you stay away from sugar other than it makes you hyper. There are so many things I have not taught them!
I have decided to dedicate all of 2019 to episodes for young adults leaving the nest. Here is the funny part. Most adults don't know any of what I will teach the kids! So even if you are not a young adult, tune into my 2019 series!
